Parks Project is recruiting volunteers to remove trash and large waste from the Rio De Flag on Saturday, March 28, 2020! We will be working in the riverbed as it runs between O'Leary Street and San Francisco Street.
The Flagstaff Sustainability Program will provide volunteers with safety vests, trash pickers, and gloves. Please wear closed-toe shoes and prepare for the possibility of wet and/or muddy conditions along the riverbed.
Volunteers will meet and sign in at REI (323 S Windsor Ln, Flagstaff, AZ 86001) between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM. We will have complimentary coffee, hand out supplies, and walk across the street to our clean-up area.
