What: Come out and join us for a morning of coastal clean up at The Shorebird Park Nature Center, followed by some well-earned brews from Novel Brewing Company! After a few hours of habitat restoration and cleanup work in the park, we'll be heading to Novel Brew Co for a happy hour special of $1 off beers.
The coastal clean up is hosted by the Parks Department for the City of Berkeley.
The crew will be split into two groups-- litter pick up and mulch to reduce the mosquito habitat.
When: Saturday, September 21, 2019. 9:00am-1:00pm

You bring: Closed-toe shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirt (recommended), refillable water bottle, work gloves if you have them.
We provide: Tools needed for the event, water, snacks, Parks Project swag for volunteers!
Directions:
There should be ample parking in the lot off of Seawall Drive. Meet at the Shorebird Park Nature Center.
Happy Hour will be at Novel Brew Co. 6510 San Pablo Ave, Oakland, CA 94608. Let them know you volunteered to get $1 off your beer!
